ALTAR PAINTING

      An altarpiece painted by Bro. Peter Reid member of our Council, about ten

      years ago for Saint Joseph's. The painting is displayed for six weeks throughout

      the Lent period each year.

      Consisting of three panels and painted in layers of acrylic based glazes the

      overall size is approximately three feet by nine. It is based on a painting in the

      National Gallery, London that is attributed to Reni Guido (1640-1749).
